Eloise Moigno

As part of the blog "Conscious People" by Venitz, we interview the actors of the green transition to find out more about the behind their commitments. Today, here is the story of Eloïse Moigno.

Hello everyone, I am Eloïse Moigno, an entrepreneur passionate about projects that change the world, particularly in eco-responsible fashion.

Today, I dedicate a large part of my daily life to supporting fashion brands by helping them promote their eco-responsible approach through the SloWeAre label; but also to raise awareness among the general public of fashion issues, while providing them with practical and easy-to-adopt solutions.

My eco-responsible commitment, I owe it to a trigger, an awareness: I would say that it is a particular attention paid to know-how, the fact of having grown up in a setting very close to nature, and also my taste for reading... As a teenager, I read eco-friendly magazines, and even more improbable, food packaging - fascinating, isn't it ? Then, I began to notice that the fashion system contributes to the planned obsolescence of clothing, a reflection which was later confirmed during work- study training in a ready-to-wear boutique in a sign. But ultimately, what acted as a driving force for me were my meetings with committed creators who opened the doors of their workshop to me in complete transparency. I wanted to make them known to as many people as possible!

In this sense, I am committed to a more enlightened, authentic, coherent and fair fashion.

The way I perceive the world around me and the way I interact with others has been strongly influenced by my readings and my encounters.

I like to think that the desire to support noble causes is contagious, so if I had to give one piece of advice to those who haven't yet taken the plunge: ask yourself who made your clothes!

However, adopting a more ethical and responsible lifestyle is not a linear process; I myself continue to make food purchases in supermarkets (it's not easy to avoid excess packaging!) so, I might as well laugh about it: lightness above all!

The orange rays of the setting sun run over the steep rocks that border the ocean, the shells coo - lulled by the swell -, the hubbub of the city falls asleep behind the light mist that rises. The wind whispers a word in my ear: I smell the iodine and I feel good. It inspires me that the force is with us.

The water brushes against me, I raise my head in a sigh and my eyes meet the stars which shine with their beautiful pale glow. I am overwhelmed by a wave of feelings, even resentments. Dear Nature, I dream that a great wind of renewal will blow over the world and sweep away all problems.
