Stephanie Bergouli

Hello everyone, I'm Stéphanie Bergouli.
I opened my vegan food truck in May 2022.
Having been a vegan myself for several years, it was important to me to work in alignment with my values. Thanks to my work, I combine my love for cooking and my love for the planet.
This year, I diversified my activity and I also participate in Yoga and/or Well-being retreats as a 100% plant-based chef .
Today, I dedicate a large part of my daily life to testing new recipes, playing sports, and meeting people on the same wavelength.
I owe my eco-responsible commitment to a trigger, an awareness:
Since finishing my studies in 2017, I have traveled a lot.
I wanted a new life, adventures, I learned so much throughout my travels, my encounters.
I naturally became attached to/committed to eco-responsible, healthy, spiritually rich places.
For example, I volunteered in eco-places in Patagonia, where I learned eco-construction and permaculture techniques. I learned to appreciate slow life, living in community.
In this sense, I support local economies. I boycott the big brands.
On a daily basis, it's the same. Do your food shopping at the market gardener, second-hand shopper. This is my private and professional lifestyle.
The way I perceive the world around me and the way I interact with others has been strongly influenced by my exchanges with people from all walks of life but who are all committed to protecting our environment, slowing down ecological disaster, help each other.
Since we are focusing on Latin America, let me tell you an anecdote:
If someone had told me 10 years ago that I would love to live in a yurt, shower with rainwater, use dry toilets and spend my day gardening in Patagonia Argentina, I would have difficulty doing so. believed.
I like to think that the desire to support noble causes is contagious. So if I had to give advice to those who haven't yet taken the plunge:
Raise awareness. Numerous waste collections are organized on Basque and Landes beaches. But you can also do your bit by picking up some trash each time you visit the beach.
Sort it out! Think about what we leave on this earth to our future generations.
However, adopting a more ethical and responsible lifestyle is not a linear process; I myself still travel by plane… But I increasingly prioritize the train and the boat for medium/long journeys.
