With respect for marine life as a founding desire, Laboratoires de Biarritz is a brand born from the desire to develop sun care products that respect both man and his environment. Its products are therefore formulated from natural ingredients, without any controversial petrochemical origin or pollutants.
Laboratoires de Biarritz is a team involved on a daily basis in respecting the environment. A team headed by true ocean lovers. As assiduously practicing surfing or sailing, they know the ravages of pollution on the balance of marine ecosystems and are particularly keen to preserve them.
They concentrate their efforts and their know-how to develop treatments that guarantee optimal safety. Thus, the number of ingredients in the formulas is limited and only those having demonstrated the highest tolerance are selected.
The effectiveness of each product is scientifically demonstrated by clinical studies, under dermatological control, to which are added tests (ecotoxicity) to ensure that the products do not harm the environment.
The manufacturing processes and the choice of packaging are oriented towards solutions that have the lowest possible environmental footprint: recycled plastic, biosourced plastic, glass, green ink, etc.
Laboratoires de Biarritz treatments are certified organic according to the Ecocert and COSMOS Organic standards, and benefit from the Cosmébio label, meaning that at least 95% of the ingredients are of natural origin and at least 20% of the finished cosmetic comes from Organic Farming.
But the brand goes beyond: its cosmetics contain 99.5% ingredients of natural origin and up to 97.5% are organic. The formulas do not contain any petrochemical or “risky” ingredients (parabens, silicones, phenoxyethanol, etc.).
